About

Child-Adolescent Therapy and Parent Consultation

Helo! And welcome to my page. I am an independently licensed clinical social worker with over a decade's worth of experience serving children and their families. I offer play-based and skills-focused individual therapy for children, as well as behavioral health consultation for their parents and caregivers. In my practice, address common challenges relating to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, and family conflict. I approach treatment collaboratively and will work with you to develop a plan to help you and/or your child meet your goals. My approach is integrative, and draws on effective evidence-based treatments - including insight oriented approaches (psychodynamic), skill building approaches (cognitive-behavioral), and other collaborative and developmental interventions. I recognize that therapy is a considerable commitment, and I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment for our work together. I view therapy as most effective when we address not only the immediate challenges, but also the root causes of these problems in order to make lasting change. In addition to my work as a pediatric therapist and parent consultant, I am on faculty with Harvard Medical School and serve as an instructor in Trauma Informed Care for psychiatry fellows at Cambridge Health Alliance.
